2nd International Poultry Forum China to focus on industry's environmental impact

    The environmental impact of the poultry industry in China, along with crisis and risk management, will be among topics examined at the upcoming 2nd International Poultry Forum, which takes place at the Swissotel Beijing, China, September 6-7, 2013.
    The event has already drawn a strong interest from around the world, with participants coming from academia and the public and private sectors, both from China and overseas.
    Sponsors of the event include: Fujian Sunner Development Co. Ltd.; Beijing Huadu Group Corp. Ltd.; Alltech Biological Products (China) Co. Ltd.; Dalian SAM; QinHuangDao ChiaTia Co.; VNU Exhibitions Europe BV/VIV Exhibitions; and the Dutch Poultry Centre.
    Limiting the growing environmental impact of China's expanding poultry industry and the creation of a green/circular model of production will be debated, as will the relationship between the environment and avian diseases and food safety. Experts from the international arena will look at best practice and latest technologies to see how they can be applied in the case of China.
    The 2nd International Poultry Forum is organized by Poultry International China Edition, WATT and Shanghai Lyja Cultural Media Co LTD, with support from the China Agricultural Association.
    Registration is US$285 and includes breakfast, lunch and admission to a specially organized cocktail and networking event on September 6 and breakfast and lunch on September 7. A reduced registration fee is available for all registrations received by July 31.
