According to reports, Mexico-based poultry producer and processor Industrias Bachoco has seen a 19.3% increase in net sales over the same quarter last year.
Net sales totaled MXN5.61 billion this quarter over MXN4.7 billion for the same time last year.An increase in chicken sales of 24.7% coupled with the 7.3% boost in swine sales was credited for the rise. Gains were also made in table eggs sales while the company saw a 2.7% drop in balance feed sales.The company’s quarterly operating profit was listed as MXN35.3 million compared to an operating loss of MXN243.6 million last year.
